Let’s start with Moda’s French General. This is an exquisite fabric line that has so many possibilities.

A quilt made from these prints would be gorgeous, and we have pulled a selection of companion fabrics that coordinate beautifully with this line.

How about a set of napkins out of the fleur de lis print?  What a perfect hostess gift this holiday season.  Pillows, table runners, you name it, this fabric is exceptionally beautiful.

Hey Cupcake is a “sweet” line and has some great coordinating designs that go along with the cute cupcake print.  The stripes belong in every fabric lover’s stash! The small flower prints are dainty and the whole collection has a somewhat retro vibe! A baby quilt and bedding or children dresses would look precious in these fabrics.  Simply throw in that black stripe and you will successfully rock the modern/retro look!

It was a cross between a rock concert and a business meeting!

Baby Lock Tech 2015 with Ray Queen

At Baby Lock Tech with former Baby Lock VP Ray Queen

We are back home after four wonderful days at Baby Lock Tech! This conference and dealer training couldn’t have been more fun and educational. We learned a tremendous amount about our Baby Lock machines and learned even more about the exciting innovations in sewing that Baby Lock has to offer. Opening ceremonies were a hoot! It was sort of a cross between a rock concert and a business meeting.

We managed to get a pic without a giant golden balloon hitting us! 🙂

There were giant golden balloons flying through the crowd, rocking music that got us all dancing and silly antics from Baby Lock leaders and staff.

The Baby Lock regional sales managers entertained the crowd with a dance routine that was a take-off on River Dance, complete with giant bobble heads.  The dance number was too funny and the managers were such good sports.

The training sessions were jam-packed with learning opportunities and there were “Sew-librities” everywhere. Baby Lock is endorsed by some of the biggest “sew-lebrities” in the industry. Nancy Zieman, Jenny Doan, Eleanor Burns plus many more, all sew on a Baby Lock.  There were even ambassadors from Baby Lock Japan in their dress Kimonos – sewn on the Baby Lock sergers!

We loved the training we received on the Destiny and the NEW Alliance single needle embroidery machine.  Let me tell you – if you ever wanted to dip your toes into the home-based business of embroidery, this machine is calling your name.  It is easy to thread and does beautiful applique and embroidery – all with a free arm to enable bags and hats and small items.
